About CNC TV

San Diego’s CNC TV is the multimedia content provider for San Diego County government.

We produce all meetings of the Board of Supervisors that run on the Web and air on the County’s television channel. We produce virtually all video content that appears on County government websites, including www.countynewscenter.com, mobile, and social media. We also produce a wide range of video content for County departments as part of outreach to the public – topics covering everything from health to libraries to voting. CNC TV is also responsible for producing internal content for employees, such as training videos.

CNC TV has won dozens of local Emmy awards, as well as honors at the national level and is widely considered one of the top ten local government multimedia content providers in the United States – and we do it with a small staff.  In 2013, the National Association of Telecommunications Officers & Advisors awarded us its top Overall Excellence prize – the industry’s highest honor.

It is the goal of CNC TV to make County of San Diego government accessible to citizens so they can be confident their tax dollars are being spent wisely. We are here to educate and energize the public and provide the real story of County government in action.
