A 12-year-old Spring Valley boy reported missing has been found safe, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
The boy had left for school Monday morning on his bicycle but never arrived. He had no history of running away, and the Sheriff’s Department asked the public for help finding him. He was located about 6:40 p.m. The Sheriff’s Department said detectives were interviewing the boy to find out what happened.
