Cat Adoption Fees Waived for ‘Fall in Love’ Special

FallinLove_Cat_Collage_2017

What better time than the first day of autumn to “Fall in Love” with a fuzzy feline? County Animal Services welcomes the new season Sept. 22 with an adoption special on cats and kittens. No matter what age, size, color, stripe or personality, qualified cat fanciers can take one, or even two, home at no cost.

The County’s three animal shelters have hundreds of cats to choose from. Each one will go to a new fur-ever home already spayed or neutered with current vaccinations and flea control, a microchip and a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days.

The special will run from Friday, Sept. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 24. You can always check out the cats in person prior to the “Fall in Love” promotion. The shelters are open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. If you don’t want to risk someone else adopting your favorite, you may want to adopt at the full price then and there!

Cat lovers can also see what felines are up for adoption by visiting County Animal Services webpage.
