Reading Time: < 1 minute

Three members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors took the oath of office today, including the first new member elected since 1995.

Dave Roberts of Solana Beach won election in November to replace long-time Supervisor Pam Slater-Price representing District 3. He joins Supervisors Greg Cox, District 1, and Dianne Jacob, District 2, who were both returned to the board in the June primary election.

All three were sworn in during a ceremony held at the County Operations Center in Kearny Mesa. They join Chairman Ron Roberts and Supervisor Bill Horn in overseeing a nearly $5 billion budget and approximately 15,000 County employees.
