Free Hullabaloo Concert at Waterfront Park

Hullabaloo at Waterfront Park
Reading Time: < 1 minute

Find out what all the hullabaloo is about on Sunday when local musical duo Hullabaloo plays a family-friendly concert from 6 to 7 p.m. at Waterfront Park.

The “kid folk” act plays about 300 shows a year from private parties to libraries, parks and events. They’ve even rocked Austin City Limits and received rave reviews from People and Parenting magazines.

Sunday’s concert in the park is free and open to the public.

Waterfront Park is home to expansive civic greens, gardens, a children’s play zone, picnic tables and a spectacular 830-foot-long fountain that runs nearly the length of the park. So come early to enjoy a splash in the fountains. And stay late to enjoy the sunset over the San Diego Bay across the street.

The park is located at 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego.

Most street parking is free on Sundays. Limited paid parking for Waterfront Park is available in the underground garage off Ash Street between Pacific Highway and Harbor Drive, as well as at the nearby 640-space, 10-story county public parking structure at the corner of Cedar Street and Kettner Boulevard. Visitors are encouraged to take public transportation. The MTS Trolley’s County Center/Little Italy station is just one block from the park.

For more information about the event, call (619) 232-PARK (7275).

Hoping for an encore performance? Mark your calendars for upcoming Hullabaloo performances at other County facilities, including Santee Library on Aug. 3, Solana Beach Library on Aug. 4, Cardiff-by-the-Sea Library on Aug. 5 and Waterfront Park, again, on Aug. 28 and Sept. 25.
