Concerts Coming to the Waterfront Park

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Summertime… and the listening is easy.

The County’s Waterfront Park is hosting four concerts throughout the month of August, just four more reasons to come hang out on San Diego’s front porch.

The free, outdoor concerts are perfect for all ages.

“Music brings all sorts of people,” said Waterfront Park District Manager Christine Lafontant. “And bringing free events to downtown is all about fun, community and living well.”

Lafontant said the concerts have an emphasis on local artists, and she hopes to bring more variety to the types of tunes played in the park.

Pick a day – or come to them all! Bring your blankets and chairs to enjoy the sounds. The Waterfront Park is located at 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, 92101. Parking is $10 in the underground garage on a first come, first served basis, and there are meters surrounding the park.
