Deck the Halls at Rancho Guajome Adobe

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Step back in time for some old fashioned holiday cheer at the Annual Rancho Christmas at Rancho Guajome Adobe in Vista on Saturday, November 24, and Sunday, November 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The adobe’s 28 rooms and two large courtyards will be transformed into a hacienda hideaway that replicates the holidays of the 1800s. More than one hundred wreaths, garlands and centerpieces made out of natural materials will adorn the restored historic adobe.

They can also view demonstrations of blacksmithing and wool spinning, or even hop aboard a tractor-drawn wagon with hay bales and bench seating. Park visitors can enjoy Native American story-telling, Ballet Folklorico performances, live music, dancing and beverages.

Guests on Saturday evening can enjoy an expanded celebration starting at 4 p.m. that includes hot cider and the warm glow of luminaries in the courtyard while listening to the sweet sounds of Christmas caroling.

Tickets for the Rancho Christmas festivities are $5 for adults ages 13 and older, $3 for children 4 to 12, and free for children under 3 years old. .
