Free, Family Fun at Lakeside Festival

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Grab the kids and head on out to Lindo Lake Park in Lakeside this Saturday to “Go Play, Get Fit and Be Healthy!”

That’s the unofficial motto for the 10th annual It’s How We Live! Festival and there will be plenty of free family-friendly activities.

Kids can play games, make crafts and check out three jumpers; one obstacle course jumper, a slide and a bounce house.

There will be dance performances, Lakeside Union Elementary School District performances, and Zumba. You can also browse through various informational booths and take a shot at winning health-related prizes and giveaways. Health and dental screenings will be available as well.

All this is free and gets underway at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 21 after the Lakeside Union School District’s Run for the Arts. The festival will run until noon and you can find it on the ball field outside the Lakeside Community Center located at 9841 Vine Street in Lakeside.

For more information, call the Lakeside Community Center at (619) 443-9176 or follow them on Facebook.
