Pet of the Week – Penelope

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Ask any mother and she will tell you nine months is a very long time to wait. Penelope hasn’t been waiting nine months to give birth but for her forever home.

Penelope came to the shelter on October 22, 2014 and is still waiting. Now in the middle of kitten season, poor Penelope will probably have to wait even longer for a home unless you come to save the day!

She is a lovely gray and white cat who is 8 years young; she has plenty of years left for purring, cuddling and cat naps on the sofa.

If you are interested in bringing her wait to an end, come and visit Penelope at 2481 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. Her ID number is A1613989 and Penelope’s adoption fee is waived due to her long wait.

She’s recently had some dental work so she has a fresh new smile and she comes with vaccinations, a microchip and a free veterinary examination. For more information, call (619) 767-2675 or visit www.sddac.com.
