Pet of the Week – Rico Suave

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Rico Suave tries to live up to his name by being a cool cat but the truth is he’s the cuddliest guy here. He’s so cuddly, we had a tough time trying to get a good photo of him!

Our Rico is adventurous too but only if he knows you’re right by his side. This 2 year old also has an extra vertebra which makes him walk a little funny but that doesn’t stop him from doing anything. He jumps, walks and gets around as well as any other cat.

If you’d like to meet our Rico Suave, stop by the County Animal Services’ animal care facility in Carlsbad and ask for him by his animal ID number A1770207. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and is located at 2481 Palomar Airport Rd in Carlsbad.

His adoption fee is only $58 and that includes current vaccinations, viral testing, a microchip and registration, flea control plus a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days. For more information, visit www.sddac.com or call (619) 767-2675.
