Pet of the Week – Zeus

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Zeus was one of the most imposing figures in Greek mythology, but our Zeus is just a fun guy with no pretensions.

This 4-year-old chocolate and white pointer blend does have tons of energy. He’d be a perfect hiking buddy and he’d love to run at the beach with you too! Zeus likes to climb and jump so he’ll keep you on your toes.

Zeus has made many canine friends at the shelter so he may like a forever home with other dogs. But no cats, please. He just wants someone who is as active as he is to keep up with his exciting personality.

If you are interested in Zeus, please visit him at the County Animal Services’ animal care facility in Carlsbad. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and is located at 2481 Palomar Airport Road.

His animal ID number is A1737370 and his adoption fee is only $35. The price includes current vaccinations, a microchip, flea control and a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days. For more information, visit sddac.com or call (619) 767-2675.
