Pet of the Week – Angus

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Statistically, black dogs and senior dogs are some of the least likely dogs to be adopted in a shelter environment.

For these reasons this sweet, old guy is still waiting to find a home that will love him throughout his senior days. Meet Angus.

This 9-year-old lab originally came in as a stray in January. Angus’s buddy already found his forever home, but this aged pooch is still patiently awaiting his chance for a family.

Come visit Angus (A#1698124) at the County’s animal care facility at 2481 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. His adoption fee is $35, which includes neuter, microchip,  current vaccinations and a free veterinary examination.
