Pet of the Week – Frodo

Reading Time: < 1 minute

This Frodo is a “hoppit,” but like his “Lord of the Rings” namesake, he has a quite a saga.

The white boy bunny has lived at the shelter longer than any other animal at the County’s three shelters!

This little guy was actually born at the shelter on Nov. 13, 2013, and his mother and siblings have all since been adopted. Frodo is neutered, litterbox trained, loves attention and the occasional strawberry top or cilantro for a snack.

Can you believe this little guy has never even seen the inside of a home?! Maybe you can offer him the fellowship he needs! You can meet Frodo at 2481 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. His animal ID number is A1580129. His adoption fee is just $25 and includes a microchip.

For more information on Frodo and the other animals at the shelter, visit sddac.com or call (619) 767-2675.
