VIDEO: Deputies Now Carry Overdose Antidote Countywide

After a successful pilot program in 2014, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department now supplies Naloxone, the antidote for opioids, to each deputy sheriff on patrol. Deputy Sheriff’s at all patrol stations and substations carry Naloxone with them as an important lifesaving tool.
