San Diegans splashed, clambered and sauntered Saturday around their new front porch: the County’s Waterfront Park.
There were fireworks, a 1,600 foot-long ribbon cut and plenty of free activities for all at the grand opening of the 12-acre site around the County Administration Center in downtown.
The family park brought in people of all ages for some monkeying around on the jungle gym, miniature golf, a classic car show, and, of course, lots of splashing around.
Even Fido showed up to check out the new grounds!
