How to Get Ready for the Storm Heading Our Way

San Diego County is expecting a second storm to bring rain, wind and snow to our communities beginning early Wednesday morning.  County residents are reminded to follow a few simple steps to prepare for emergencies. Storms across San Diego County can lead to flooding, power outages or wildfires due to severe wind, dangerous road conditions and closures, or it could even damage water lines.

County Approves New Traffic Signals, Road Improvements and Filtration Project

The Board of Supervisors approved three major infrastructure projects to improve safety, mobility and sustainability in unincorporated communities: new traffic signals in Lakeside and Fallbrook, road upgrades in Valley Center and a stormwater filtration project in Fallbrook.
