Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Jonathan Lucas, appeared on Fox 5’s San Diego’s Most Wanted, but no, he’s not wanted for a crime.
Reporter Lynn Stuart interviewed him about prescription drug abuse. During the last ten years, Dr. Lucas has seen the number of prescription drug abuse deaths in San Diego County nearly double. In fact, prescription drug abuse is the leading cause of accidental death in San Diego County and the country overall, even surpassing the number of motor vehicle fatalities.
