For over two years, San Diego County residents have been feeling the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the region.
And through it all, thousands of people and organizations have been working to keep residents and communities safe.
Today, the County Health and Human Services Agency honored 58 individuals and organizations for their efforts to improve San Diegans’ health and quality of life during these unprecedented times.
The above video highlights the 2022 Live Well San Diego 21st Annual Public Health Champion Awards recipients. The awards are presented every year during National Public Health Week.
This is the 21st year the County is presenting the annual awards, which embody the County’s Live Well San Diego vision to promote healthy, safe and thriving communities.
