Behavioral Health Court is a program designed to help people with behavioral health challenges transition from jail to a life of self-sufficiency. It is multi-tier program where participants learn to better manage their condition, set goals and measure their progress. They learn to adjust to changes and connect to community services to maintain their care. The program is rigorous, but participants have the support of a court team, social workers, nurses and psychiatrists … and the opportunity to change their lives for good.
