The County Employees’ Charitable Organization (CECO) distributed $110,002 to 73 community organizations and over $15,000 to the CECO Employee Crisis Fund during its annual awards ceremony at the Southeastern Live Well Center Friday.
All the community organizations are local to San Diego County and include Alpha Project for the Homeless, Foundation for Women Warriors, Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation and San Diego Black Pride. See the full list.
Formed in 1956, CECO distributes 100% of the funds it raises back to the community and has given more than $7 million back to San Diego County.
