County Offices to Close for Cesar Chavez Day
In observance of the Cesar Chavez state holiday, San Diego County offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed Tuesday, March 31.
County parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day-use parks will be open, and all regularly scheduled classes and events will continue, but the following recreational facilities will be closed:
- Spring Valley Gymnasium
- Lakeside Community Center
- Fallbrook Community Center
- Spring Valley Community Center
- Community Teen Centers
- 4S Ranch Sports Park Office
Department of Parks and Recreation camping customers can make reservations online at sdparks.org, because the reservation phone line will not be available.
Essential services such as law enforcement and emergency animal control response will continue through the holiday.
All County offices will resume normal hours on Wednesday, April 1.
