County Offices to Close for Thanksgiving Holiday 2012
All County of San Diego offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed to the public Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
County libraries and animal shelters will reopen for normal business hours on Saturday. Animal control officers in the field will respond to emergency calls throughout the holiday.
County parks will remain open, with the exception of:
- Spring Valley and Lakeside REC Clubs
- Spring Valley and Fallbrook Community Centers
- Spring Valley Gym
- Lakeside Community Center (closed Nov. 19-23)
The Department of Parks and Recreation’s reservation phone line will not be available, but customers can still make reservations online at sdparks.org.
Essential services such as law enforcement will continue during the holiday period.
County offices will resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 26.
