County Offices Will Close for Memorial Day
San Diego County offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The closure includes all County public health clinics, family resource centers, library branches and animal shelters.
Essential services, including law enforcement and emergency animal control response, will continue without interruption throughout the holiday.
County parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day‑use parks will remain open as they do every day of the year. However, several community facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25. These include:
- Fallbrook Community Center
- Lakeside Community Center
- Spring Valley Community Center
- Spring Valley Gymnasium 4S Ranch Recreation Office (all parks remain open)
- Valley Center Community Hall
- Adams Park Pool
- Community Teen Centers
Camping reservations may still be made at the County Department of Parks and Recreation Online Camping Reservations webpage. The reservation phone line, however, will not be staffed on Memorial Day.
All County offices and facilities will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.
