Take classes, attend workshops and shop the garden marketplace at the Master Gardener Association of San Diego County’s Spring Seminar. Download the program, find the class schedule and register online.

You do not need to take the classes to shop the marketplace.

  • Free garden tool sharpening (Each adult attendee can bring 1 hand pruner to be sharpened, which should be in working order, under 9″, and have your name on the handle.)

General Information

  1. Our goal is to improve the gardening practices of San Diego County residents who grow ornamental and edible plants by providing practical information on non-commercial home horticultural and pest management related topics. Proceeds from the seminar are used to pay related expenses and to support Master Gardener public education activities.
  2. Classes fill quickly and early registration is recommended. Seminar registration and assignment of classes is on a first come, first served basis. Confirmation of classes will be confirmed on the email you receive upon payment.
  3. No refunds will be made after registration.
  4. For safety purposes, we request no children under age 12. Minors must be registered and supervised by an adult at all times.
  5. This is a non-smoking campus.
  6. Please no pets, service animals only.
  7. Plentiful and accessible parking is provided and is complimentary. Parking attendants will help direct Seminar attendees to the parking garage.
  8. Handicap parking is available in the lot near registration check in.
  9. We reserve the right to substitute speakers if necessary.
  10. This event takes place rain or shine.
  11. Please, no photography, video or audio recording in classes.
