Why do plants look, feel and smell the way they do? Use your senses to experience nature in a unique way! Join us as we explore various plant adaptations from the beauty behind flowers to the purpose of aromatic fragrances. Ages 4 and older are welcome. Meet at the kiosk directly in front of Upper Park Entrance.

There is one session at 11 a.m. and another at 3 p.m.

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kids in Parks program with seven TRACK Trails events across San Diego County! The TRACK Trails program is designed to help children find fun ways to explore the natural beauty of our parks. The system features kiosks on the trail with brochures on turning an ordinary hike into an adventure. There are plenty of adventures to choose from; kids can embark on a guided hike, learn all about the park’s history, gain insight into native birds and endangered species and more.
