Experts Share Forecast at Annual Economic Roundtable

Economists, industry experts and business leaders from various sectors provided their thoughts on what 2022 will hold for the local, national and binational economy at the 38th Annual Economic Roundtable on Thursday.

This year’s speakers were:

  • Tim Keane, dean of Knauss School of Business, University of San Diego
  • Caroline Smith, director of Strategy and Intergovernmental Affairs, San Diego County
  • Jeff Light, publisher and editor, San Diego Union-Tribune
  • Peter Callstrom, president and CEO, San Diego Workforce Partnership
  • Jose Maria Barrero, assistant professor of finance, Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) Business School
  • Alan Gin, associate professor of economics, University of San Diego
  • Daniel Enemark, chief economist, Workforce Partnership
  • Kenia Zamarripa, executive director of international affairs, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • Carlos Jaramillo, president, Tijuana EDC
  • Pedro Montejo, president, INDEX
  • Gustavo Lopez, senior associate, PolicyLink
