There are bargains galore at the County’s next public vehicle auction. Hundreds of surplus vehicles, including automobiles and heavy equipment from the County and other local agencies are going on the auction block on Monday. Many bids start at just $100.

Among the vehicles: 2008 Toyota Prius Hybrids, a 2007 Honda Odyssey Van, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala Sedan, 2007 and 2008 Nissan Xterra SUVs, a 2005 Toyota Camry, 2006 and 2007 Toyota 4Runners, 2007 through 2011 Ford Expedition Patrol 4X4s, 2001 Ford E350 cargo vans, a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid 4X4 and 2002 through 2009 Ford Crown Victoria patrol cars.
Browse around and you’ll find even more stuff on wheels: a Taylor Dunn electric cart, a variety of trailers, a 2006 Ford 350 4X4 with snow plow and service bed, a 1999 Case 621 B loader and even a 2003 Freightliner FL70 cab and chassis with an Elgin sweeper!
TNT Auction Company will run the online event. While the auction starts at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10 and ends at 1:00 p.m. the following Monday, Aug. 17, you can kick the tires so to speak at two public previews between the opening and closing dates. One runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 and the other 8 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 17 at 369 Main Street, Ramona, CA 92065.
