Stomping Out Mental Health Stigma

A day of entertainment and fun activities in Old Town’s Heritage Park helped draw attention to the serious challenges of mental illness.

“Be Brave: Stomp Out Stigma” sought to remove societal stigma toward people with mental illness and encourage those who need help not to be ashamed to seek it. The event brought together County officials and behavioral health experts to provide resources for the community along with activities for families.
