San Diego County residents are invited to join virtual Community Listening Sessions to share their thoughts on Alternatives to Incarceration— community-based services or other approaches that help keep people out of jail or the justice system.

Each Community Listening Session will include a 15-minute overview of the Alternatives to Incarceration Project and 75 minutes for public comment. Speakers will be asked to follow time limits to allow everyone to share their thoughts.  All Community Listening Sessions will be conducted in English, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Spanish.

While speakers can share any thoughts or feedback they have, the County of San Diego and its project partner SANDAG (San Diego Association of Governments) will prompt speakers with some specific questions.
