Tips to Keep Your Pool Safe This Summer

Temperatures have soared; summer has definitely arrived. And that means if you’re not at the beach, it’s time to hit the swimming pool! 

But before you jump in, here are a few tips to help make sure your pool is safe for you, your family and any friends who might stop by.

San Diego County’s Department of Environmental Health inspects about 4,000 public swimming pools and spas every year to make sure they clean and safe. And while they won’t be coming to your back yard — they only inspect public pools, not private residential pools — they can share some helpful pointers.
