Reading Time: < 1 minute

Whether you see yourself commuting in a fuel-efficient Toyota Prius, cutting a slick figure in a 2007 BMW M-6 convertible or expanding your business with the help of a 1-ton cargo van, the County’s public auction in Ramona Saturday may have just what you need.

Hundreds of vehicles, including automobiles and heavy equipment, and surplus government property from the County and other local agencies will be up for bid.

The auction items are too numerous to list here, but besides the BMW, Prius and van, bidders can consider a 35-passenger school bus, dump trucks, a Hyundai Elantra, a Ford F-800 18-foot truck, a Pacific mini-dozer, an electric forklift, pickup trucks, semi-trucks, auto repair equipment, various trailers and goods such as microwaves, fans and printers.

The event will be run by the TNT Auction Company at the Ramona Rodeo Grounds Fred Grand Arena, 421 Aqua Lane in Ramona. The public and media are invited to preview auction items tomorrow, Feb. 2, and Friday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The auction will be Saturday, Feb. 4, with registration and viewing beginning at 8 a.m. and the auction starting at 9 a.m. Proceeds from sales will go to the donating government agencies.
