All San Diego County offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed Friday, March 30 for Cesar Chavez Day.
Most County parks and preserves will be open with some exceptions:
- At 4S Ranch the sports office and adult hockey activities will be closed, but the gym and fields will remain open depending on the weather.
- The Spring Valley and Lakeside teen centers will be closed.
- Lakeside Community Center is closed, but the preschool will be open.
- Spring Valley Community Center will be closed but bingo games will continue.
- Fallbrook Community Center will be closed.
Essential services, such as law enforcement, will continue during the holiday. County libraries and animal shelters will resume normal business hours Saturday, March 31. All other County offices will resume normal business hours Monday, April 2.
