All three County animal shelters in Carlsbad, San Diego and Bonita are offering the special. They’re open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
The $5 adoption fee covers spay or neuter, a microchip and registration, current vaccinations, flea control plus a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days.
