Carlsbad Voters Head to the Polls Tuesday

Registered voters in Carlsbad will cast their ballots Tuesday, Feb. 23 for the Municipal Election on Measure A, the Agua Hedionda South Shore Specific Plan, to determine the future of more than 203 acres east of the I-5 freeway between the Agua Hedionda Lagoon and Cannon Road.

Voters who aren’t sure where to cast their ballots for this election can check the back of the Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet sent to their homes or use the polling place locator online. Type in the home address and click submit to find the neighborhood polling place or view the sample ballot online.

Those who vote-by-mail but haven’t mailed in their ballot yet can drop it off at any of the 59 polling places in the City of Carlsbad or the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa any time between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. The office is located at 5600 Overland Ave., San Diego, 92123 on the campus of the County Operations Center.

For voters who need language assistance, election materials are also available in Spanish, Filipino, Vietnamese and Chinese.
