Several County departments will be on-hand to help connect veterans to services at a veterans resource fair tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the County Operations Center in Kearny Mesa. The fair is in the courtyard at 5520 Overland Avenue San Diego, 92123 and parking is available for free in the structure beside the courtyard. Click here to register for the event.

- Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk
- Health and Human Services
- County Library
- Office of Military and Veterans Affairs
- Self-Sufficiency Services
- San Diego Sheriff’s Office
Other services provided include:
- Department of Motor Vehicles
- California Department of Veterans Affairs
- Educational Opportunities: National University
- Employment / Volunteer Opportunities: County of San Diego, the Sherriff, USS Midway Museum and more…
There will also be support for VA disability claims, military records requests, help managing VA benefits, a property tax saving workshop, getting copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates and continuing education resources with local universities.
This event serves as part of the County’s commitment to supporting veterans, including encouraging landlords to make their properties available veterans with housing vouchers. enabling them to thrive in San Diego. Landlords can submit an interest form online through 211 San Diego.
