San Diego County offices will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 at most County facilities for the Independence Day holiday. The closure includes all County public health clinics, family resource centers, and library branches.
Essential services, including law enforcement and emergency animal control response, will continue without interruption.
County animal shelters will be closed on Friday, July 3, but will reopen on Saturday, July 4.
The Adams Park Pool will stay open Friday, July 3 and close on the Fourth of July.
County parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day‑use parks will remain open. Several community facilities, however, will close July 3 and 4, including:
- Fallbrook Community Center
- Lakeside Community and Teen Center
- Spring Valley Community Center
- Spring Valley Gymnasium and Teen Center
- 4S Ranch Recreation Office (all parks remain open)
- Valley Center Community Hall
Camping reservations can still be made online. But the reservation phone line will not be staffed during the holiday.
All County offices and facilities will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6.
