County Supervisor Dianne Jacob, joined by affordable housing advocates and builders, launched an incentive program aimed at spurring the development of granny flats and other accessory homes.
The County will start offering free, pre-approved accessory home plans to property owners and others in the region’s unincorporated area.
The plans will be available at the County’s walk-in permit center in Kearny Mesa as well as online. Several more designs will be offered in coming weeks.
