VIDEO: Live Well Center Opens in South Bay

County Supervisor Greg Cox and community leaders celebrated the grand opening of the South Region Live Well Center at National City.

The 84,000-square-foot facility will house 400 employees and combine numerous County services under one roof, including a Family Resource Center for residents seeking medical insurance coverage and food and nutrition assistance, Child Support Services, Aging & Independence Services and a Military & Veterans Resource Center to connect veterans and their survivors to benefits.

This is the second regional Live Well Center opened by the County. The first opened in Escondido last year and has become popular with residents. The South Region Live Well Center at National City will allow the County to better serve residents and advance its effort to have healthy, safe and thriving communities.
