The 12-year-old San Marcos girl who was the subject of a Sheriff’s Department search Tuesday morning was found safe.
The girl skipped school and took the Sprinter to her grandmother’s house in Escondido, the Sheriff’s Dept. reported. The grandmother did not know the girl was supposed to be in class. She later contacted the mother to inform her where the girl was.
