Pet of the Week – Danny Boy

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Danny Boy is a famous old song much loved by the Irish. Our Danny Boy doesn’t sing but he does have that red hair the Irish are known for.

This red tabby is a loving and social gentleman. At 9 years old, his interests include afternoon naps and cuddling. He’s lived in a home with other cats and appears to enjoy the company of his feline companions so if you already have a cat or two, he’ll fit right in!

If that sounds like your cup of tea, stop by and visit him at County’s animal care facility in Carlsbad. It’s located at 2481 Palomar Airport Road.

His identification number is A1719901 and his adoption fee is only $5 because of our scary, good deal on cats and kittens starting Saturday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 30. That price includes current vaccinations, a microchip, viral testing and flea control plus a free veterinary exam within the first 10 days.

The shelter is open from 9:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. For more information, visit sddac.com or call (619) 767-2675.
