Pet of the Week – Chico

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Drop the Chalupa and adopt a Chihuahua!

This macho little man, Chico, beats to the drum of a big dog! He has a big heart, LOVES to go for walks, and he LOVES women!  He is very proud, so be aware he will not tolerate the embarrassment of being carried in a purse, wearing holiday outfits or having his nails painted!  Chico’s expectation as a Chihuahua is that a new home considers him sacred, just as the Aztec and Toltec Indians did.

Chico is 4 years old, microchipped, licensed, neutered and has had all his vaccinations.  Because Chihuahuas do best with a companion Chihuahua, he’s looking for someone who already has a buddy for him, or for someone who will adopt him and another Chihuahua. The County shelters are overflowing with “ay-Chihuahuas!”

Chico’s adoption fee is just $69 and you can visit him at the shelter in Carlsbad. Please refer to his animal identification number, A1480582.  For more information call (619) 767-2675 or visit www.sddac.com.
