Plan Released to Keep Schools Safer During Wildfires

The County Office of Emergency Services and partners today released a set of guidelines created to keep schools safer when threatened by wildfires. The School Protection and Evacuation Plan was developed by Emergency Services with input from local fire and law enforcement agencies and the County Office of Education. It is designed to prepare and empower districts to make decisions to protect students and staff during a wildfire.
