The Registrar of Voters is conducting two special elections in March; the special primary for the 40th State Senate District on March 12 and the Municipal Special Election for Council District 4 on March 26.
Poll workers are still in demand for both elections; especially those who are bilingual in Chinese, Filipino, Spanish and Vietnamese. The need is especially great in the neighborhoods listed below:

Poll workers receive a stipend ranging from $75 to $175 depending on the assignment and those who are bilingual receive an additional $15 if they are assigned to provide language assistance to voters.
Poll workers must be U.S. citizens, registered voters in the State of California and have transportation to their assigned polling location. Depending on the job assignment, they may also need access to the Internet to complete an online training and attend a two-hour class.
