If you’ve had a surfboard, bodyboard or golf clubs stolen, you may be in luck. They just might be at the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. The North Coastal Sheriff’s Station has items stolen from all across the County waiting to be claimed.

While many items have already been returned to their owners, photos of those items that cannot be traced back to their owners have been posted on sdsheriff.net/return.

If any of the items you see on the Sheriff’s website belong to you, note the photo number and complete the contact form (on the right side of the screen). A deputy will contact you.

To claim an item, bring a stolen property or theft report from any law enforcement agency. If you don’t have a stolen property report, you’ll need to show a photo, proof of insurance, and a receipt or information such as a serial number to prove the item belongs to you.

The search for suspects is ongoing. Call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477 if you have any information on the stolen property. A reward of up to $1,000 will be given for information that leads to a felony arrest.
