The mumps outbreak associated with San Diego State University now includes 14 confirmed cases and one probable case. The County first reported the outbreak on Sept. 18 and the updated case count reflects data through Sept. 30.

The measles virus could make its way to San Diego soon, with five recently confirmed measles cases in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Exposures in those counties have been reported at Disneyland, airports, restaurants, shops and other public spaces.
