Flu cases are on the rise in San Diego County. Last week, 116 cases were recorded compared to 77 the week before. To date, 1,209 cases have been tracked this year, up from 733 at this time last flu season.

The winter months are quickly approaching and so is peak season for influenza. Now is the time to protect yourself and your family from the flu. The County provides flu vaccines at Public Health Centers throughout the region. Each year in October and November, the County also hosts flu events to bring the flu vaccine into local communities.
