Mouse Tests Positive for Hantavirus

A western harvest mouse collected in routine monitoring has tested positive for hantavirus. County environmental health officials are reminding people not to vacuum or sweep up after rodents if they find them in homes, garages, and sheds. Use wet-cleaning methods instead.

County Libraries Move to Door-side Service

With the state’s new COVID-19 Stay Home order in effect, the County of San Diego’s 33 libraries have moved to door-side service to help county residents practice social distancing and still enjoy all the library books, digital magazines, music, movies and other fare they love.

County to Hold Virtual Dia de los Muertos Festival Sunday

County Begins Improvements to Lakeside’s Lindo Lake County Park
