The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued an excessive heat warning calling for triple digits temperatures in some inland areas and the deserts through Tuesday, Sept. 6.

County and Sheriff’s Department Homeless Outreach Teams Walk the Waterfront Park

A homeless outreach effort in the Waterfront Park is changing lives through direct, same day assistance. The County’s Office of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities (HSEC) teamed up with Sheriff’s deputies, Sheriff’s resource teams and other County support teams to walk the park and engage with unsheltered individuals. County public health nurses were also standing by to help.
