VIDEO: The Flu Season is Upon Us; It’s Not Too Late to Vaccinate

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Flu activity in the region is elevated and it’s hitting San Diegans very hard.

So what can the public do? Get vaccinated. Everyone 6 months and older should get vaccinated. It takes about two weeks for immunity to develop.

The flu vaccine is available throughout San Diego County at doctors’ offices, retail pharmacies and people with no medical insurance can go to a community clinic or County public health centers. Visit www.sdiz.org or call 2-1-1 San Diego to find a list of County locations.
