Too Busy to Vote Tuesday? Vote Early on Saturday

Reading Time: < 1 minute

If you want to vote in the Nov. 6 Presidential General Election but your schedule won’t allow you to visit your polling place Tuesday, take advantage of the Saturday voting hours at the Registrar of Voters office.

“We offer Saturday hours because we know people are busy and voting on Election Day Tuesday may not be convenient,” said County of San Diego Registrar of Voters Deborah Seiler. “In addition to providing mail ballots and staffing polling locations, we open the Saturday before the election to give voters another option to cast ballots or drop off their vote-by-mail ballots.”

The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. and is located at 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite I, in Kearny Mesa at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road.

If voters plan to visit their polling place Tuesday but need information on where it’s located, they can visit sdvote.com, enter in their address and get their designated polling place. Vote-by-mail ballots can be dropped off at any county polling place Tuesday.

The Registrar of Voters office will also take calls Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at (858) 565-5800.

Additionally, a drop off location for mail ballots is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Monday at the lower parking lot outside the Registrar’s office. On Election Day, the drop off hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
